Why did you decide to become a photographer ?

I don’t think you become a photographer, I think you are born like that. It's not having a camera in your hands that makes you a photographer, its what you’ve got in your mind. A camera helps you capturing this moment that others can't see.

What in your opinion differentiates a good photographer from a bad one ?
The bad one will have to take 100 shots to have a least 5 good photographs and the good one will take 5 exceptional shots right from the beginning.

What do you enjoy the most about your work ?

I really enjoy the intimate moment that I share with my subjects and the trust they put in me, they let me find their inner beauty that sometime they are not aware of.

Do you think in your experience that some people are easier to photograph than others ?

No, everyone has got that little something, whether you are introvert or extravert, that’s just who you are. Don't forget that a sad or a shy expression can be beautiful.

What is the difference between working for yourself compared to working for a designer/Campaign or a magazine ?

The difference is that the designer will tell you what to do and most of the time you are not credited for the campaign. Campaigns are always represented with celebrities instead of the photographer’s real talent. Working for myself is a lot more creative, and my work is not hidden behind a celebrity image. I have nothing against having to shoot an A list celebrity but I want my career to be based on how I photograph rather than whom.
